Yesterday I merged PRs, went to meetings, and reviewed a design doc for a new alert system we want to build for internal use. I also finished a first draft of a date gap detector, which should help with resolving problems with USAfacts and the combo cases/deaths signals. Late meeting, late dinner, but past me was merciful so there were leftovers to heat up and we finished eating remarkably close to our usual time. Brief trash, crossword, then I’m between projects so I watched a couple episodes of Jinn. My Arabic is nowhere near good enough to do without subtitles most of the time but I did catch some pronouns and the odd excuse me/thankyou/etc. Early bed, no snack, just sleep. Dreamt of public pools, sinus pressure, searching for food vendors, mistaking a refrigerator for an elevator, jungle gyms, anime club, some kind of conflict over broccoli.
