Yesterday I checked and delivered the new aggregations, ran the signal correlations notebook for the F community question (to excellent results), looked at some of J’s code and let her know about the bugs I found, and made a bunch of small fixes to the aggregations cron job I’ve been meaning to do all week. I started a thing to transition us to a 7-day incremental window for data ingestion, but it’s giving me different figures in aggregation than running on the full cumulative dataset, so something isn’t quite right there. I totally spaced on a meeting with J to look at the rest of her code; I feel bad about that.

After lunch I went outside. I disassembled our broken composter, dumped all the finished compost on the bed I put the A-frame over last week, and planted the remains of last year’s snow peas, the two nicest bush beans, asparagus beans, and some carrots for kicks.

After that I attempted to write a thing that would save the partially-processed cumulative data and merge it with a new incremental file, but it either didn’t quite work or I got confused in my testing. Will try again today with more rigor.

Dinner, crossword, DS9, snack, sleep.
