Sick bank rollover
Oct. 22nd, 2019 07:38 amYesterday I finished the paper patterns and added alignment marks. I cut the back and the side panels from a remnant, then pulled out the next canvas panel to do the rest. Kings of the North is starting to lose its rhythm, but I can’t tell if that’s the writing or the reader or too many similar character names. At work I got all tests to pass, wrote a test to try and duplicate the bug B found, but it causes a different kind of crash. While waiting for tests to finish I tried out the brew formula that was causing T trouble, but they’ve either fixed it or the problem is specific to the configuration of his machine. I also discovered that I’d accidentally clobbered a week’s worth of writing with the git cherry-pick I merged on Friday, but managed to dig it out of unreachable. That’s a relief. Met with M, did a bunch of live debugging with annotations. His use case of choice happens to engage a bunch of ambiguity in the parser, so we set up some additional training examples. It helped a little, but not enough to push the parse he wants over the threshold LIA needs to actually offer it to the user.
Home, some embroidery, dinner, crossword, Elementary, snack, assembled ingredients for another batch of nut and seed bars, sleep. A bunch of executive dysfunction around food, but it’s the time of year for it, and I just started the winter dose of Zoloft on Sunday so we’re still in the strange two weeks for that.
Dreamt a bunch of different animals had snuck into the house, including a pigeon, a chicken, and a dog that turned out to be my ex? Also student activism and subway tokens.
