Yesterday I sewed and felled the front and back panels together, then cut and pressed another five strips for piping. We went to the farmers market and got apples, zucchini, peppers, onions, basil, parsley, garlic, pasta, eggplant, and cookies. Went to geagle and got dried cranberries, steel-cut oats, and millet to try again with. I went to the art store while P was getting lunch at the bagel place and looked for a grommet setter, which they normally stock, but they were out. Boo. I got myself tiny owl stickers as a consolation prize. I checked a few other places online, but most of them either wanted $50 for the setter or would only sell me $50 worth of ventilator grommets. I eventually thought to myself “well I guess I could sell the extras on eBay”, then backed up a step an looked there. Ordered a kit with a good-quality setter and a buncha grommets for $30 reasonable.

Played some more of the goose game. I’m getting better at kiting.

Did the laundry and hung a minimal portion of it out on the line; put the rest through the dryer. Lunch was good, I should put up notes soon on the soup I’ve been making. Cozy crossword under blankets.

Finished embroidering the moon, and identified a good dark blue from stash and put in on a bobbin.

Oath of Gold continues well; I like the evolution of her ability to judge character, not just with Detect Evil but with, like, her observations.

Dinner, Elementary, snack, sleep. I like that Watson is getting crafty. I hope it’s not going to play out as a cautionary tale.
