Dreamt of boarding a sailing ship in a storm

Yesterday I sewed the first seam on the armhole binding for the daisy print, and pinned the fold in place for felling down the second edge. I’ve started reading Empire of Sand by Tasha Suri; it’s good so far if a touch melodramatic. At work I adapted the class for running freebase queries into an abstract superclass, made a version for theo, then started in on the query endpoint in the Django server. I met with M, a masters student who hopes to work with us this fall. Home, did a turn through the garden and picked beans, the first tomatillos, a tomato, and the first lemon chiles. Very exciting! I also pruned the potted chile plants, as they were getting raggedy. Dinner, trash, crossword, Elementary, snack, sleep.
