Remarkably gourdlike

Yesterday I finished the waistband, ironed a pile of muslin, and started
cutting out a test pair of pants for P.

We went to Costco and got paper products, snacks, and a housewarming gift
for S & L (a fire extinguisher and a CO detector, our standard new
homeowner gift). After lunch we did the crossword, and P went to sqhill for
a work break. He also hit geagle and got me frozen peas, green beans, and
blueberries, gf cookies, and almond butter.

I made an extra large batch of red rice and quinoa, and a mixed lentil
dish. We went to S & L’s and had tacos, told stories with G and her gf N
(who I need to put in touch with M re: graphic novel versions of technical
papers, as she’s working on converting her history thesis to such and it’s
gonna be amazing), and just generally had a lovely time. I even had some
brie.
