She’s good at endings, too

Yesterday I finished up the thread loops on the mauve side of the closure,
undid the rest of the basting stitches on the pleats, and tried on the
skirt. It fits! It’s gorgeous! Very pleased. It’s now hanging up so the
bias can stretch a bit before I have P mark a level for the hem band. I
finished Record of a Spaceborn Few and am taking a breather with podcasts.

At work I had lunch with SJ, who spent her break in Japan. I put a couple
hours into fixing a bug in the derivation rules I wrote on Friday, and
figuring out that the way we do conditionals is rather complicated. SJ came
in with a sysadmin issue that turned pernicious and ate the rest of the
day, uncovering a major issue with python 3 on one of W’s server groups.

We did the crossword before dinner since Mondays this semester have an
evening class P’s auditing. I spent the evening knitting and watching
Lucifer.
