Dreamt A was driving my old middle school bus route

Yesterday it was rainy and cold all day long so I stayed home. P went to
the market and then to an event for the master gardeners. I cleared the
worst of the clutter off the dining room table and washed the towels and
the usual laundry. I had a pretty good food day until I tried to amend
dinner with an almond bar. That was too much.

I finished the Tearling series. The ending was a little pat, but I’m
willing to call it a YA conceit and let it be otherwise satisfying. The
author learned a lot about writing over the course of the trilogy, and
built a complex world with many moving parts that was fascinating to watch
come together. Highly recommend if you can scrounge up some patience for
the first book.
