Dreamt of transgressing curfews

Yesterday I went in to campus early for a meeting, which went well. Sent
out an enormous glob of release notes for the code, which was apparently
impressive. said hi to D, who was on campus for lunch with C. Made vague
dinner promises for September. Had lunch with DA, and chatted about rec
letters and grades and pedagogy and siblings. Dodged most of the rain
coming home, talked to the shuttle driver about vegetable gardening. After
dinner P and I moved the bed and flipped the mattress and swapped his evil
nightstand for one with a narrower profile and no corners in reach. Called
mom, gave her the bulk update. They have two apple trees that are bearing
well this year, grandad’s eye surgery went well, and my brother figured out
how to re-activate his student status in time for fall classes. Dad’s
making progress on all his construction projects (bus, shop, sound studio,
hot tub), and my sister is doing much better this summer without the
alarmingly severe side effects of the seizure meds she was on last year.
