Yesterday I rinsed out the yarn I dyed, and it looks alright — uneven, but
no bare areas; not so much brown as a deep plum, but still P-compatible.
I finished a worsted+ 3-ply in a sort of 70s ITW Falkland colorway, and
assembled supplies for an angora blend to go with it, but it turns out my
carding muscle memory does not work for the new hand cards and I tore up a
couple fingers. The eventual plan is a lined hat for D.
I wound all the sweater yarn into cakes, and knit a few rows on the new
body. I’ve been watching Halt and Catch Fire, which is full of jerks but
just sympathetic enough to be entertaining on balance.
P had an interview for a remote position which seems to have gone well. He
also went to a transportation meeting for greenfield, where PAT asked to
take home a map he drew of the crosswalk issue at the bridge. So, that’s
pretty cool.
