The weather was wonderful, too

Yesterday was our anniversary, and we continued our tradition of going to
the Staghorn for drinks and games and small business Saturday shopping. I
had a lovely blueberry tisane, and we assembled the NASA women lego kit. It
was pretty awesome. P found a really nice rice bowl by a local potter, and
I collected some incidentals for Christmas gifts.

The pop-up shop at the playhouse was mostly franchises, but I did find a
couple of children’s books for friends.

I sewed in a waist stay to the jumper, then sewed the lining to the shell
at the armholes and neckline.

The NYT crossword was unusually hard. Even with Google we took twice our
average time to finish it.

In embroidery land I’ve returned to the broccoli, adding shadows and
putting another thread’s worth into the floresences.
