Just put me on a potters wheel

Yesterday I slip-stitched the lining to the zipper, had P help me mark a
hem and then blind-stitched it, and pulled out all the basting stitches. I
think it’s done?

We took a field trip to Morningside where Firecracker/Cut-and-Sew had a
knife sharpener in. We had her do all our knives, plus my fabric shears.
While we waited I shopped, and wound up with a few Christmas gifts and some
interesting fat quarters and scraps for pockets. They have a really lovely
selection; if I finally realize my plans for jeans I will try and go there
first. Also for double gauze and interesting canvas. And there’s a bus that
stops right outside their door...
