Yesterday I submitted pull requests to a real live open source project that
does code-review-style PRs and I am nervousssss about responding to them
but also really excited and proud of myself for writing code that’s useful
to people outside my immediate research group.

I managed to salvage the back bodice without having to start over, though I
think I want to add an extra seam to handle the enormous shoulder darts I
need back there. It’s going to be a little complicated since the jumper
neckline I want reduces the width of the shoulder strap severely enough
that I can’t really fit a dart there, and rotating it to the armhole looks
pretty weird.

I finished the spider web flowers in the vase, and added sepals to the
side-view ones. Stems and leaves are going to be awkward.

Got caught in a huge downpour after work; the usual bus never came and
while the next one arrived his typical 15 minutes early he wouldn’t let
anybody on until go time. Mean. I had an umbrella so I was only soaked from
the knees down, but most of my busmates weren’t so lucky. We weren’t
supposed to get that much rain yesterday.
