And I received my leggings fabric
Sep. 14th, 2017 10:30 amYesterday I sewed all the major seams for the shorts muslin, and they seem
to go on okay for P. I'm going to test the elastic length and the pocket
position and then switch to real fabric.
Picked some more beans and peppers, and there will be corn soon too!
Got a lovely haircut. Also, my stylist said "forgive me if this sounds a
little weird but you have a really nice shaped head for this cut" --
apparently they just did a class about head shapes. So that was cute :)
Disorganized people at the teaching garden are trying to foist blame on P
again, which sucks. Thankfully, it sounds like he was in a good
brook-no-fools state about it. Boundaries are so hard to establish, but
every little bit of practice helps.
We've been watching a series of YouTube videos on cutting an enormous wild
bee hive out of a fallen tree in Texas (pre-Harvey) and it's fascinating.
The channel is Daddy Kirbs Farm if you want to check it out -- they are
long, but oddly soothing in their methodicalness.
