It's kind of a brick
Apr. 18th, 2017 11:10 amYesterday I carded and spun more sweater singles, knit some more sock, and
spun some more on my supported spindle.
I've found a good rhythm for the sweater spinning: card and watch fiber
vlogs for 40 minutes, then spin it all up as a meditation, which usually
takes me 20 minutes. That puts me more-or-less at shower time. The garden
is starting to loom more urgently in my attention, which means I really
have to get the sweater done asap if I have half a chance of finishing it
at all.
I baked the sourdough loaf, but I am skeptical as the final rise wasn't all
that great. It's wholemeal, so some density is to be expected. Smells
wonderful. We'll find out when I slice into it. Maybe a wetter dough next
time?
