The hat is really nice, too
Feb. 20th, 2017 12:01 pmSaturday I made some more hat yarn, and went in to work to finish slides
for a talk we're giving on Wednesday.
Yesterday was our third no-net Sunday (which has been great and I highly
recommend it). I finished another bobbin of sweater singles, carded another
basket of rolags, and finished P's hat. We went outside and did most of the
winter pruning, cleared away all the dead stalks from last year's
herbaceous growth, and I severely cut back the hedge that had started
growing over the tansy, asparagus, lavender, hydrangea, and holly (which
had practically been eaten entirely). There's still a bit more that needs
to be cut back to make room for the onion bed, but that will wait for
another day.
