The lightning was appropriately festive

Yesterday I sewed the zipper, which went in especially easily since I had a
longer zip than necessary and was able to keep the pull well out of the
way. I went in to work, since I had more voice experiments to do and those
are easier if my officemates aren’t in. I finished testing a few options
for demo scenarios, found and fixed a bug in how we test sub/superclass,
and started fixing an issue with how and where we convert I/me/my requests
to you/your responses.

Once home, I picked dye flowers out in the garden; the dark red coreopsis
is doing beautifully and the zinnias are starting to take off. After dinner
it turned out I was more dehydrated than anticipated, so instead of doing
more sewing I stayed in the AC with a big glass of water and finished off
the basket outlines on Gerty’s embroidery project.

[food] was substantially better, but I need a new calorie dense afternoon
snack. Maybe animal crackers with almond butter? Glutino makes yummy ones.
