Decent

Yesterday most of my meetings were canceled for Presidents’ Day, and I spent the extra time figuring out how to leave the covidcast data in two tables and just combine query results with UNION if someone ever asked for history from 2020. It needed one gross hack to deal with rows that were in both tables but with different timestamps, but I think it will work. I met with L on the process improvement project and we sketched out the rough lines of the phase two proposal. I also did a pile of writing for the BIGINT retrospective.

Dinner, crossword, then P taught his evening class and I watched SG-1. Snack, sleep, dreams of weird dorm life, recipe development with T, small children with behavior problems, pear trees, candied peel.
