Hlepful crows
Yesterday we went to the Strip and hit La Prima, Mon Aimee, PenMac,
Enrico’s, and WFH. I got a bunch of stuff for a care package for my sister,
more rice berry but also a Thai red rice to try, and a couple of battle
carrots. P got cheese, an interesting regional pasta, pine nuts, white
jasmine rice, sausage, and a selection of pastries. On the way in we
stopped at the Amazon pickup; first time I’ve used it; creepily dystopian
but very effective.
It’s hot, so I did nothing with the rest of the day except eat and watch
two episodes of Lords and Ladles.
