Yesterday I blocked the mittens, finished a bobbin of spun lambswool
singles, worked on the materia medica (native region, geographical
distribution, and botanical features), knit a bunch of hat lining (a bit
too much -- had some legit carpal tunnel pain, which I almost never get),
and gleefully scrolled through a facebook and twitter feed full of women's
march photos. I am so proud of all of my cities, and of everyone worldwide
who went themselves or supported anyone who went. We are not alone; we are
not even in the minority. Our current crisis is the result of dedicated
rulesmongering, and we have tools both lawful and chaotic with which to
fight it.
